I got a new song coming out next Wednesday on the 29th (during my summer trip lol) called “dododistort”. It's gonna be dropping on midnight EST, and it's something I've been meaning to share with you all in full for a while now. This song started getting made as a part of a little trend my friend ColossalColossal had going on both in our Discord server and on Scratch. His short, sweet, and funny song, "dododo", led to a whole bunch of people making remixes and covers using the elements used in the original song. What I ended up doing was taking the “do” sample, changing the sound of it like crazy, and making whole new melodies with it, thus creating what some of my buds deemed a “pirate-like tune” (to be fair it does have that kind of vibe to it). I must've been in a crazy flow state back when I was originally working on this because I'm not sure I could recreate this crazy sound. I'm happy to finally put this out on all platforms with the permission of ColossalColossal. The cover art for the single also uses the Kindred Montague art that Unoriginal_Fox made; it's just been modified a ton to give a different energy.

But anyway, yeah! Get ready for my brand new song (and possibly some more music related to it very soon). I'll likely have a visualizer up on YouTube the same time as the song itself, and the release will also be a free download on Bandcamp for anyone who wants it.

Unoriginal_Fox put out their debut album a few weeks ago, titled ORIGINAL_FOX. I may have forgotten to make this blog post at that point, but I still wanna bring it up because it's an amazing project! Also, I have a vocal feature on the song “GET WICKED”, so there's that for you to look forward to.

This is the introduction of my “Makrotis Bootlegs” series. I know most people nowadays just call these things remixes (like unofficial remixes), but I want to make it easier for people to differentiate what's an official remix and what isn't, so… here we go! I hope you all enjoy what I've done with “Tapatio” by RedCloud and Pigeon John. This bootleg is currently available on YouTube as well as Soundcloud.

My new Ty C. Miller compilation has now been released today! It features 20 of my personal favorites and the most notable tracks from that old discography, including Isolated (Annus I Edition), Surrounded by Golden Bars, Jell-O Planet, and more!

For those who don't remember, some time in 2025, I removed almost all Ty C. Miller tracks from Spotify in a form of protest. As much as I'd still like to go forward with that with confidence, I am aware that a lot of people who listen to my music do so on Spotify, and I don't wanna limit options for you guys. Not every Ty C. Miller project is returning to Spotify, but this compilation will be giving you all 20 of its tracks to listen to, including three songs that have never been on the platform before.

The option to purchase CDs of this project is still in the works, but it's not quite finished yet. When I get all of that taken care of, there will be around 100 copies of the compilation for people to get in a newly made shop webpage. Stay tuned for updates on that!

Here is the full track list for my upcoming Ty C. Miller compilation album, Music of and By! I tried to feature some of the most notable songs from this discography whilst also keeping the overall listening experience polished and enjoyable.

As I continue to release new music through Makrotis, I've come to realize that Soundcloud seems a tad pointless to upload everything on. I had already used up over half of my free storage, and the cheapest available subscription, the Artist plan, is priced the exact same as my current Amuse plan at $39.99. If I already have a distributor for putting my music out on streaming platforms, I don't see the point in subscribing to Soundcloud's plan at the same time (I'm learning to not spend too much money on subscription services).

So, what I've decided to do is reserve my current Soundcloud account for music that I wouldn't normally upload on streaming platforms. That means that my album, Leff Export, and any singles before it have been removed to clear up my free storage. If you want to listen to my original music, you have so many other platforms to check out. Soundcloud I will use for things such as submissions for remix contests, demos, and more. I may also upload these same things to my YouTube channel, but this Soundcloud account will be fully dedicated to the stuff (hopefully I don't run out of free space too quickly).

First off, I hope you enjoy this finalized cover artwork that I have put together for this next standalone single, “FM Ad Break”. Although this song isn't planned to go on any upcoming albums, I like the idea of releasing it as a transition point between mini eras. This song was made partly in UltraBox (a mod of BeepBox) and partly in FL Studio as a way of elevating the best of both pieces of software.
